From the recording Space
How Robots will help explore our Space
Lyrics
We went to space over eighty years ago
Chasing silent halos in the cosmic glow
Left our footprints on a dust–cold moon
Thought we’d be back by the next June
But the stars kept all our secrets in their light
Turned our little blue world into just a satellite
Now the history books feel like ancient stone
And the sky we dreamed of doesn’t feel like home
Robots will fly to other stars
And bring back ideas and scars
Tracing our dreams through the cosmic dark
Carrying questions we left at the start
They’ll sing our names in data streams
Across the voids of shattered dreams
Maybe they’ll find what we once knew —
That hope still burns where the stars shine through
We heard Hawking’s voice across the years
Speaking of worlds beyond our fears
Black holes whisper, galaxies spin
Where time begins, it loops again
He dreamed of life in the dark unknown
Building empires of thought, not stone
And maybe when our signals fade
Those dreams will guide the paths we’ve made
We’ve turned the stars into stories we share
Streaming the past through electric air
Our children dream from screens of light
Of distant suns that once burned bright
We built the sky with wires and code
But still look up that endless road
’Cause even now, with all we’ve made —
We’re reaching out the same old way
Robots will fly to other stars
And bring back ideas and scars
They’ll carry our voice through the endless dark
Searching for home, still chasing that spark
Human dreams and machine hearts align
Echoes of Earth in the grand design
We left long ago, but we never depart —
Space is the mirror of the human heart
