From the recording "Fire in the Sky”
This is actually a Sunset in a storm not a fire, but it looks like a fire in the sky.
Lyrics
The sun sinks low beyond the hills,
Paints the quiet world in streaks of thrill
Crimson bleedin’ on the clouds,
A blaze that hushes every sound
It’s burning up the evening air
Golden sparks everywhere
Every day must say goodbye
With a fire in the sky
Sunset’s turning wild tonight
Orange and red, setting the night alight
All my worries melt away
In the embers of the day
Caught in the glow, I wanna stay
Where the sunset looks like fire
Shadows dancing on the grass,
Light flickers, memories pass
Reflection in your amber eyes,
Lost in the flames of paradise
It’s burning up the evening air
Golden sparks everywhere
Every day must say goodbye
With a fire in the sky
Sunset’s turning wild tonight
Orange and red, setting the night alight
All my worries melt away
In the embers of the day
Caught in the glow, I wanna stay
Where the sunset looks like fire
Ashes fading into blue
Night arrives, but I have you
Let’s hold onto the heat awhile
Let it set our hearts on fire
Sunset’s turning wild tonight
Orange and red, setting the night alight
All my worries melt away
In the embers of the day
Caught in the glow, I wanna stay
Where the sunset looks like fire
The fire slowly dies
But tomorrow, we’ll find
A new blaze in the sky
